An Office represents a physical location. Every Company needs to have at least one "main office", but may have associated several offices.

List of Offices

To get a list of offices refer to http://[YOUR_SERVER]/intranet/offices. 

Find an Office

The quickest and most convenient way finding a company is probably using the ]po[ Full Text Search. A search box is located on the top right corner of each ]po[ screen. Alternatively you can go to http://[YOUR_SERVER]/intranet/offices and browse or filter by company name.

Creating a new Office

To create a new office please use the Admin link "Add New Office" on http://[YOUR_SERVER]/intranet/office.
Please not that whenever you create a Company, a new Office will be created automatically with address data as provided. This Office will then become the 'Main Office' for that Company. So address data is always stored with an Office and never with a Company.

Assigning Users to Offices 

Users can be assigned to offices using the Office Member Portlet

Delete an Office

To delete a office please set its status to "inactive".
