]po[ Sencha File Storage

This is going to be the successor of the old intranet-filestorage package. This filestorage includes:

• AJAX single-page architecture with a collapsible tree
• Drag-and-drop of files both inside the FS tree and from the Windows/Linux client computer
• File versioning
• Access to the files using Web-DAV Protocol, so that users can "mount" project folders in their Windows systems
• ]po[ permissions: Access to Project and customer files is controlled by the standard ]po[ permission system (horizontal and vertical permissions)
  
• A separately installable client for Linux and Windows operating systems similar to DropBox.
  

The back-end of this package is already implemented using the OpenACS file-storage package. A new GUI already exists written using the [Sencha ExtJS libraries].

We expect this package to be finished for ]po[ V5.1 or V5.2.

  It would be great if v4.1 includes a more advance document storage system (more user friendly with archive versions, comments, check out, ...)
